What is this?
A weekly column on people trying to get along with computers. Deep learning by the Seine 🇫🇷, mapping Space Invader mosaics, an occasional segway to Steinbeck's post-rodeo hangover 💫.

Hello, I'm Przemek!
I live in Paris 🇫🇷, where my favorite pastime is riding a city bike at night and reflecting on the amusing paradoxes of life. I like hiking (still thawing after Denali), movies (Paris is the best city in the world to enjoy cinema, #ChangeMyMind) and writing things down to organize my thoughts.
I work as an Engineering Manager at Google. Currently working on Fuchsia and smart home devices. Before that I was working on Chrome. I don’t write about work here. All the opinions and doubt presented are mine.
Other projects:
I co-created Hash Code and scaled it from 200 participants to 100k+, the biggest team programming competition in the world. (story, goodbye note)
Before Google I led the Image analysis team at Adaptive Vision (now called Zebra Aurora Vision) and wrote about using image recognition for quality inspection
